A STORY STEEPED IN SOUND

Constellation Quartet was formed in 2020 during the height of the pandemic. Initially put together as a pick-up group to perform with The Neighborhood Concert, a company producing socially-distanced events, the quartet members soon realized there was something deeper at play.

The quartet spent months in zoom meetings, masked rehearsals outdoors, and navigating the ever-changing landscape of the world in 2020. In Spring of this year, they accepted the resident-artist position with the Garden Concert Series in Redondo Beach. Since then, they have performed to sold-out crowds on a monthly basis with a selection of the best singer-songwriters Los Angeles has to offer.

Constellation Quartet is committed to bringing live music into a variety of communities and contemporizing the role of a string quartet in the 21st century. Their next single, Walking On Broken Glass (September 3rd debut), offers a whimsical version of the classic Annie Lennox song rooted in strong playing, an excellent arrangement from cellist, Max Mueller, and a meticulously recorded, warm string sound. Their debut EP, Venice Sessions (feat Cliff Beach), will be released at the end of October 2021.

Be sure to watch out for the quartet as collaborators with artist, Abby Posner, on her song Low Low Low. Their live music video will be released by The Bluegrass Situation in September.
